Cairngorms Pride is first and foremost a queer wellbeing and nature-focused organisation.

We are here to do our bit for queer people, allies and the planet.

Over the last twelve months, we have been developing project ideas and partnerships in response to the findings in the Pride Consultation survey.

We are delighted to have strategic partnerships underway within the National Park and our launch projects are ready - so let's do it!
Our Partners
RZSS
"The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland(RZSS) is a wildlife conservation charity with a vision of a world where nature is protected, valued and loved. RZSS is proud to partner with Cairngorms Pride to challenge discrimination and support everyone to be their true self. It is hoped that all communities who engage with RZSS gain a greater personal connection to the natural world and remember that nature can provide us all with a sense of belonging, no matter who we are."

CROWN ESTATE SCOTLAND
"Crown Estate Scotland manages land and property spanning seabed, coastline, rural estates and more, we work to make sure that all the assets in our care deliver lasting benefits to Scotland and its people.  We believe that equality, diversity, and inclusion are fundamental principles that strengthen our organisation and enhance the value we deliver. We are proud to partner with Cairngorms Pride to best apply these principles alongside the LGBTQ+ community. On our Glenlivet Estate we aim to provide a welcome to all and with the support of Cairngorms Pride we are better placed to do this for the LGBTQ+ community."

SOMEWHERE: FOR US
"Somewhere: For Us is proud to have magazine members, readers and podcast listeners in every corner of Scotland, including many in the Scottish Highlands. We are very happy to be a creative and media partner to Cairngorms Pride and to aid and promote their important innovative work, especially supporting people living in some of Scotland’s most isolated communities where loneliness and increased prejudice affects lots of LGBTQ+ folk. With our shared values, we look forward to working with the team, sharing lots of queer joy, and helping make the Cairngorms National Park a more inclusive place for LGBTQ+ people to live, work and visit
."

Collaborate
with us

Our projects are made possible through partnerships and collaborations with like-minded people and organisations. The Park's geographical layout means it can be harder to connect up, so we're here to help change that.

Get in touch with us if you have connections within the National Park area, and you have an idea for working with us to support our local LGBTQ+ and ally communities.
